    Default I Must Be Crazy!

Am I the only one who refers to their dogs as the boys? Surely not............
A staff member has often heard me talk about " the boys" but she obviously thought the human kind, in conversation yesterday, she asked if my daughter was the eldest or youngest, laughing I told her she was the only child.Imagine the laughter when she realized I was talking about the dogs!!!!!!! Am I really that sad? lol.........Yeah I am!

No, you certainly aren't the only one. I don't do it as I have 4 kids and ppl would think I was talking about my kids when I'm actually talking about my dogs..lol. But I work with a few ppl who have dogs and no kids...they always refer to them as their boys or girls etc. Sometimes (with strangers)..I have to ask...do you mean a child or a fur baby?...hehe

My boys are often referred to as my boys. That's what they are, my boys. Funny thing is that I have 2 adult daughters who are my girls. I am sure it must confuse some! *lol*

You definitely are not the only one. I'm telling everyone my full-time job is taking care of my baby boy. I always tell people I have a son.

Nop certainly not! Zig is our girl and particularly OH refers to us as his girls
At my work is a baby boom going around ATM. Everyone gets babys (the human kind) and when I hear them talking about their little ones I always think to myself, OMG it is sooo similar with our Zig.... Apart from the fact that I don't look as tired as they do

Our human boys (6 and 9) tell everyone there are 7 people in our family. Four boys and three girls. Three family members have four legs, the rest have two.

I don't have any skin kids, so it's definitely "the kiddies" in our home. Rob only has photos of the dogs on his desk at work. This always makes me giggle at the moment .... "Spirit" is the "baby" & is going through those teenage years at the moment (16 months). She's rather naughty sometimes & quite willful. I'll tell her "no" for whatever she's being naughty about & then when she persists, Rob will go up to her & say in the "voice of authority" .... "Didn't you hear your Mother ? She said NO !!"
