I'd have to say Dogue be bordeaux, natually. But I do have a soft spot for Great Danes. When my partner and I started looking for a dog I wanted a Dane but OH said no they're too big, not sure what he was thinking when he said ok to a mastiff hehe

My favourite breed was always cockerspaniels as we had them growing up. Our last one died a few years ago and when it came to getting a puppy with my new husband it felt like I would be replacing her if we got another one. After some extensive research and ensuring whichever way we went the puppy came from a happy home we got the closest thing to a cockerspaniel....a spoodle. She is the most affectionate thing and incredibly smart too! We have had her just over a month and she is already using the doggy door to go outside and potty ( with some small accidents in between), she goes to bed at night with out crying and she has already got sit down pat! We are extremely committed to giving her the right training and I think she is a happier, more confident puppy for it! We couldn't imagine our lives without her! As long as a dog comes from a happy, loving home does it really matter if they are a pure breed or cross breed?

Welcome jomelke. IMO - in answer to your question. It does matter, because for every dog that is brought up in a loving environment there are dozens who aren't. The same can be said for pure breeds BUT at least there is the beginings of some sort of regulation for them, whereas there is not for x bred dogs.

Then there are people who try and cross the most ridiculous breeds of dogs together.

    Poodles with german shepherds?
    Poodles with golden retrievers??

    What next newfie x poodle?

    A Noodle?!!

I love Boxers (obviously), Brittish Bulldogs, Bull Masiffs, Saint Bernards, French Bulldogs. When it comes to smaller dogs I think the maltese are cute and tea cup dogs are cute to look at but I prefer larger dogs temperament wise.

To state the obvious... Pugs are my favourite breed. Not aggressive, kinda dumb, but very comical, cute and affectionate. What more could you seriously want in a dog........ lol

Not dumb, Anne. Their brains just work differently to other dogs. You see Pugs are not really dogs at all. They are highly intelligent aliens sent to this planet to study the human race and help people develop a sense of humour and a more relaxed attitude towards life.

Cattle Dog is my fave, but I also love every single other breed! I'd love to own a German Shepherd one day
