id like to add to the crossbred V purebreed crap..

nothing wrong with crossbreds, being a hunter ive used a lot of crossbreds over the years, they have thier purpose and do bloody well!!! BUT im sick of seeing chugs (chiauas x pugs) and Puffys (staffy x pugs) ect ect some breeds SHOULDNT be crossed together! i also own purebreds i have 3 pure springers here atm

i hate the desginer dogs being flogged off for money but same as purebreds!!! i recently just got a pure springer from show home, poor thing was so timid and shy and just didnt know how to be a dog,now after 3 weeks she is unreal!!!!

My favourite breed is the Old English Sheepdog.I have had them since I was 15,over 30 years.Have had six in all,3 from puppyhood and 3 rescue adults. All the most wonderful family members. We are currently waiting to get our seventh,a new pup, home with us,she is about 10 days old so have some waiting to do first.
My kids have a mini poodle x labrador that my husband bought on impulse,I wish I had been out with him and my daughter, she wanted a dog but I insisted we got all the dog stuff first, bed, crate, brushes, toys, bowls etc and stupidly let them enter a pet shop without me and they came home with a labradoodle as she was called by the breeder.
A crazy dog,she is finally settling down after 15 months but they definately need owners with a lot of patience at first,if they are all like ours.I was hoping to research whatever breed she was after first(she had thought a bishon frise at that time so I was researching them) but she saw the pup,the shop owner opened the cage and put her into my daughters arms...shouldnt be allowed without BOTH parents present!LOL!

I love Boxers, British Bulldogs and Bull Mastiffs. I have a Boxer dog now and am over the moon. Hes such a fantastic dog. None of the jumping up licking and whinging that I experienced from the dogs my parents got when I was a kid. The best thing about a boxer I think is that they are so willing to cop a cuddle (even from over excited kids LOL) and lay around relaxing with you but are also willing to jump up and have a run and a game at a moments notice too. Fun loving but gentle.
