My favorite Breed of Dog are Bull terriers.
I have no idea why, I just have a soft spot for them.

I LOVE crossbreeds. I love having something a bit different.

I am partial to the working breeds of dogs. I have a blue heeler, a red heeler x and a blue heeler x chow. I love there natures and strong temperaments. They make my life very special.

My Favourite Breeds are Dalmatians and Hungarian Vizslas.

Owned, Bred and Showed Dallys for years and after losing our last one, found it very difficult to find another Dally just like him so decided on a different breed and now own the most adorable Hungarian Vizsla who has lots of energy and personality to match

I remember once my brother brought a friends tea cup chihuahua home to show my mum, when it gets cold it would sit on someones foot. But i love having pomeranians, they are very affectinate.

I love all sighthounds, but my absolute favourites are Borzoi (Russian Wolfhounds).
I wanted one since I was ten years old and met my first one. And last year (too many years later!) I finally got one of my own!
Now I have two, they are the best dogs I've ever had - love them to bits.
I'm glad to see so many people loving Greyhounds!!

I just love my Greyhound, im glad that they are becoming more popular i think its got to do with the GAP program being run so well. People now realise they aren't vicious dogs and are very friendly.

Also welcome to the forum, upload some pictures of your dogs

I love Afghan Hounds and all variety of Poodles (standard, mini and toy)

Cant stand the cross bred "designer" mutts they are pumping out these days, why ruin a perfectly good breed by crossing it with another?

Hi Xanthe! We have an Afghan (and a large family with kids of various ages). They and poodles are underrated as family pets (as long as you like running!).
Our last one we lost after having him for 12 years, and it wasn't the same without one. You'll have to post some pictures of yours. Our Layla is a gorgeous black one, although clipped at the moment, she's a lovable clown if ever there was one!

I also agree with your thoughts on "designer" crossbreds. People just aren't aware enough that you don't just simply get halfway between the two breeds, you can get any number of strange variations, on type and temperament! Greed is a major factor in their production, which is always bad for animals.

I love pomeranians although i don't have one. I bought what was supposed to be a maltese x shitzu but from looking on the net i think we might have a maltese x jack russell. I am so happy they ripped us off, he is beautiful

Greyhounds are lovely dogs and i have never heard of one hurting a fly. (figure of speech hehe) My favourite breed would have to be the Pug, i would buy one of them but they are alot of money considering they have a lot of back problems and eye problems. If your not careful their eyes are so delicate that if you were pulling back the skin on there head there eyes can pop out! Thats why i aint buying, my second favourite is the Toy Poodle, because i have one, they are soo cute. Thanks
