Why would you think he'll start fights?

    Ok im really not understanding.
Why would he try to be dominant?
What about him will make him try to over-power?

Ask anyone who has both male and female dogs and most will tell you the poor old male is usually dominated by the girls.

When I was a child my family had three dogs. A Bull Terrier, a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle. All were male. All lived together in harmony. The Cocker was boss dog and the Bull Terrier was the soft, lovable wimp.

Maybe have a chat with a few Bull Terrier owners before making your decision.
