Default dogs in the bedroom and sleep quality survey

    Hi all

one of my friends from the dark side shared this uni study survey to find out if there are links to dogs in the bedroom or in the bed and sleep problems.

There are a lot of questions that need better options, I just picked the closest I could manage but sometimes ... if your dog never shares the bed with you when you're sleeping - then zero is the right answer but it's not an option in the answers.

I hope they fix it up.

It is intended for people who have a dog in the bedroom or bed more than people whose dogs sleep elsewhere in the house.

For me - my dog wakes me up a couple of times a night if she sleeps in my room - cos of her licking but if she's not home (still at boarding kennel) or I'm away - I can't sleep at all. Go figure.

Like you say, I am disqualified from this survey, as i would never have a dog in my bed. Because, i know, without a survey, that i AM disturbed by others in my bed, of any species, just take my pillow, prevent me making angels, and moan if i roll around when they are sleeping.
Oh for the days when you could ask the person to bugger off, when im done with them lol

Our dogs free roam our house, sometimes they are in our room by choice, sometimes not, depending. I do not like my dogs on my bed. having five huge dogs on bed does not give a good night rest........I have no sleeping issues, ever. I can sleep anywhere. I did not have jetlag in all my recent travels, becuase i can sleep anytime. So dogs are no issue, just lack of space if in bed LOL

I figure - I haven't put my name and address on it and I can fib on any question that doesn't seem right eg the demographics... so they've got my IP address and that's about the only useful info they've got really.

I did have a lot of fun with the last census - got a 3 yo non English speaking (fur) kid dependent...
