    Default Orthopedic doggy bed

I'm looking for an orthopedic bed for Nero. After doing a bit of reading on the topic I learned that memory foam is the way to go. Apparently there are different grades (3; 4 or 5) with 3 being the lowest quality with he shortest lifespan and 5 being top notch. Does anyone have any recommendations for a memory foam bed that doesn't loose its 'memory capabilities'? I notice Snooza offers a bed with lifelong warranty and free repair service, but 350? *outch*

Maybe think 'outside the square' and look for memory foam without 'dog' in front of it !

*sigh* Rubber Clark doesn't sell memory foam cut. They tried to sell me a single bed overlay for $230. But you can get them for a lot less than that. In any case you can't use that overlay by itself, you still need another piece of high density foam underneath. It's getting really confusing now... I think I might just buy a cheap single bed overlay online and put it on a piece of other foam and see how I go.

OK.. just a quick update for those who are interested. I now bought a piece of high density foam at ClarkRubber ($ 65) and a single topper memory foam online ($ 70)... makes together roughly 135 and I had enough memory foam left to make a nice soft layer for Roxy's bed as well. So they now both enjoy super-soft-luxury doggy beds for the price of ... much less. Inf act Roxy likes hers even better than Nero. I haven't really seen her since she discovered her new bed earlier today Now I just hope it's really easier on Nero's leg...
