Can anyone tell me what genetics make a Red labradoodle? Also do true Red labradoodles fade as they age?

    From the labradoodle page

    ALA Code of Ethics

Things I find a bit "red flag" run away are
1.6. I shall take all necessary precautions to ensure that no bitch is ever bred or in whelp prior to 12 months of age. 1-4
The ANKC and the RSPCA both specify limits on how often a bitch can be bred, 12 months old is too young to start breeding a lab cross, they're not fully grown until they're 18 months to 2 years old. And there is an old age limit too - about 8 years.

1.15. I shall not expressly nor implied, misrepresent the qualities of either the Labradoodle Origin nor the Australian Labradoodle including but not limited to a guarantee of allergy friendliness or non-shedding. 1-5
Ie beware of any breeder or pet shop or ad that promises that these will be allergy free and / or non-shedding.

    They can't promise that.

You may also want to investigate "the Australian Cobberdog" where they have set up a new "breed standard" based on the lab x poodle and the aim is to breed a dog that is allergy free and doesn't shed. So they're breeding crosses of crosses of crosses...

And you may also want to have a look at this page - if you want an established breed that meets your needs ie those breeders have much more control over what their dogs are like.

labradoodles are a product of Backyard breeders and Puppy Mills...please steer well clear of them as there are plenty of cross breed dogs in pounds and shelters wanting loving homes.
