I'll never understand people who get dogs and then do anything they can to not interact with them. And these people call the dog 'stupid'??? Does in my head.

    update:

I called the council ranger, he come around and seen us! he could see the dog from our office window, he left some papers on their door and some other booklets! they seem to have gotten the hint because she told him that the dog is going to day care during the day until they find it another home! She is not talking to any one in the street, she confronted the people on the other side and us and was told that we had all complained about the dog! She seems to think it is a conspiracy against her, its not it is about the poor dog! we have other people in the street that have large, active dogs but they all do the right thing!

Poor thing! If she's still speaking with you it might be a good idea to give her contact details for the Aussie Working Dog Rescue

I never heard back from working dog rescue despite many emails a few years ago. I find that very rude.

When we first got Chloe...we had a few problems with her even though I'd raised two GSDs before her. Rescue told me...if you don't want the dog bring it back it seems they have a policy...your dog your problem.

I suspect at times they are pretty overwhelmed with dogs. I have had to be persistant with most rescues run on a volunteer basis. People are often working and flat out doing rescue in their spare time. I would think they simply prioritise at the time. I have sent emails myself to rescues and never got a reply so have just phoned where possible. It can be frustrating but seeing how much time it consumes I can understand it.

It wouldn't surprise me if most rescues are a bit behind with emails or facebook messages and such. I found the same with ferret rescue places, they didn't get back to me with emails or facebook messages because they are just so busy. But when i phoned them, I had my new ferrets within a week! Probably the best way to go when it comes to rescues... which I understand is a pain for some people... I despise making phone calls lol
