Default Christmas time, and the vet is closed? Must be time for accidents then!

Why is it, whenever my dogs, rarely thankfully, need a vet in injury, there's none around for hours of drive?
incident 1. Brian's chops are looking crooked, the face shape is wrong. I investigate, and find his tooth has penetrated his lip, and sort of pinned it.
incident 2. Bernie punctures a artery on his front leg in woodland.

Both required first aid instead of a vet. Both fine. But bugger, i hate it when they do stuff that requires me to get bloody!

Nice adrenalin start to xmas in this family so far.
Tree has been up, ripped down twice, and put up again. Was bushy and green, now bold on 2 sides.

    Fun fun fun.

    Happy xmas all

Animals and children get sick on Sundays and public holidays. Its a law I think. Certainly true for me.

I was thinking of investing in some "children's panadol" so I don't have to find a chemist open on Christmas day. Sigh...

My sister did that to me one day - the kid was sick on Christmas eve - but they don't decide they need the panadol until the next day. ARRGGHH..

And for some reason I have to go get it. Most feral part of town too. Just next door to a hotel night club famous for bikie gangs, drug busts, stabbings, and a murder in the park across the road. I felt so safe - with all the other people who couldn't plan ahead.

Tree is virtually bald. 1/3 of the balls on it are now missing. But we have some lovely spangly shit around here!
