if you lot don't want the answer, well more than one way to send it down the great vine.

    South West Di?
    Or?
Well your signature line may give some clues but I think I will be guessing awhile longer.

well the thing about being on the internet and knowing more than a few people, you sometimes don't give the full picture in one place...
tend to bonce around the internet leaving a few tid bits as you go in more than one way.
i know what i mean, but i understand not everyone else does.

Well if you want us to know what you mean you might have to leave more than a few tid bits in one place. Like come out straight to the point but then by doing that you can often expose more about yourself more than you might want to on the internet.

However for me on the matter of dumping dogs at the pound or in the bush because you are going away on holiday is clear cut. I dont understand it and I dont understand how you could leave a dependent animal, especially a young puppy to fend for itself in the scorching waterless australian scrubland in the mistaken belief it is better than dumping it at the pound. I think that perhaps people do it because it is an easier option than the hassle and embarrassment of taking it to the pound in the first place. Just tip it out the car on the way through and then go and enjoy a holiday.

I dont know about you guys ....but i rarely bump into these people who do this sort of $hit.

The few times i have ....the dumb ones who bring it up in convo .....soon learn i'm not the type of person they should have told.

Dosn't matter where i am or whom i'm with . I'll let 'em know i hate their guts and if they what to 'debate' it ....lets get it on.

May karma haunt these people big time !!! Not tying to sound like a tough guy. I just cant stand this sort of BS. No excuse is good enough for me.

I think spiderwick posts like that so my posts look "normal"

I think there was nearly an explanation in another thread where spiderwick was posting about one subject and we were all posting about something else. go find that thread if you want more detail. But it's pretty icky.

I am in the middle of planning 5 weeks away next year. I didn't book any tickets until i had found a good place for Maggie. It will cost ALOT of money. If I couldn't pay I wouldn't go away.
I saw dumping a lot with cats when we lived in Kambalda (desert town) the cats would be turfed out the door when people went away for Christmas or left town. They would end up in the drainage system under the town until the rains when they all drowned. Life expectancy less than 2 years and a miserable death. It would have been kinder by far to put them to sleep. The owners had a strange notion that they could fend for themselves.
Dumping a dog anywhere is a heartless callous thing to do. Dumping it in the bush is disgusting, slow death by starvation or dehydration , not to mention snake bite etc. That has to be worse than the pound where the misery will end.

A friend of mine rescued a staffy/GSD mix that had been left tied up in the garden in Kalgoolie when the owners left town. A bowl of water and no food. When she found the dog it was skin and bone and very ill also with broken bones from being kicked or beaten and she only found it by chance.

Nicest natured dog you could ever imagine despite what she had been through. Now lives the good life and gives her love unconditionally to my friend after she nursed her back to health. I have no idea what goes through peoples minds when they do stuff like this.

I had a post written up but decided against posting it as it was probably 80% profanity .. and I can't really figure out how to condense it down either, apart from people make me sick.

the last person to tell all was SW... and who knows the truth to what happened to him...

i wish i had some good drugs.
give me some drugs over whats in the fridge any day...

Thingz - unfortunately being able to understand things enough and not just fly off the handle and do something you could regret is the hard thing to contain. The hardest thing is dealing with the answers, and forgive the ones who don't and the ones who gave the answers without knowing or understanding yet.

SW - I think I've figured out who you are and I might pass on this info to your last known lawyer. You've been banned from here before. If you want to go off topic - make your own thread.
