Default Why do i bother ???

Why do i care whether the beds i buy are Mastiff proof when the Brindle Bastard just digs a hole in my lawn to sleep in ?

Why do i pester the butcher to quater the dino bones when we bury the buggers after 5 minutes chewing anyway ?

Why do i replace the mozzie screens in the sliding doors (with the 'pet proof' expensive mesh) when the goofs just headbutt their way through the damn things 5 minutes later ?

Why does it take 20 minutes extra to mow the lawn cause 2 goofs want to kill the lawn mower ?

Why did i listen to the bloke who said i should get a second drooling machine who steps on my toes and eats me out of house and home ?

Because i love big puppy snuggles when i get home from a terrible day at work. No matter what .....the boys are always stoked to see me arrive home every day. The love i get when i walk in the door makes up for any BS any human can dish out at me.

They bring me back to reality ........ to quote one of my fav musicians Bradely Nowell .... "Look at all the love we found !"

This reminded me we have had no postings from Neville recently. Have you heard from him? As I recall he is responsible for the presence of one of your slobber machines..lol

why do we bother doing anything?

so clearly you need one of these magnetic fly screens

they do come cheaper than at bunnings and they work better if you attach them to a wooden frame and then attach that to the door frame - rather than rely on the sticky Velcro - that doesn't stick very long...

I had two sessions of explaining to evil hound that she is not to attack the vacuum or flat mop... and she got over it. Ie she goes for it, it stops moving, where's the fun in that.

The lawnmower man - I couldn't cure that. She's just not allowed to be out when he's in the yard at all.

Our doors have that "security screen" stuff on them, Loki headbutted it once and well, never again He's also terrified of the vacuum and mower, basically anything that makes excessive noise (although doesn't seem to care about thunder), not such a bad thing I guess

I fill unwanted holes with the dog shit and then cover over with sand or dirt...

works on my dog anyway. she doesn't like digging her own poop up.

My lawn is pretty starved for nutrients - pretty sure dog poop (that doesn't have wormer in it and I don't put that in the garden) would not last longer than a month before it is just plain old dirt again.
