Default NSW puppy farm: action needed please!

    Guys,

Oscars Law is trying to shut down a NSW puppy farm. The report is beyond disgusting and I wouldn't recommend reading all the gruesome details if you want to sleep tonight. Or ever again... for that matter. But do take some time to share the link and send the email at the end of the article to the apparently completely and utterly useless NSW RSPCA.

i really want to say something here, what the hell i will say it.
i'd love to go to every single dog club and take water samples at the end of the training days and put under a microscope.
and well the fact some people keep that one under wraps, and just sitting back and doing nothing about it as far as telling people.
Not to mention what people have done to other people who voice it and warn people so it doesn't happen anymore.

if you have a problem with me saying this.

Margoo, I edited your post to fix the link, it should be working now. I assume that is the correct page, It seems right.

Personally I'm not a fan of Oscars Law (Or animal rights activists in general)... By all means, shut down puppy farms and stop animal cruelty, I support animal welfare 100%... but I'm just not keen on the extremist views that a lot of Animal rights activists hold. There is a distinct difference between animal rights and animal welfare.

I've witnessed it first hand when someone "rescues" (or in some cases, stole, but they call it rescuing) a dog and then see's particular behavioural issues in that dog so they then jump to the absolute worst possible conclusion of what must have been done to this dog by its previous owner. When in reality, the things they've jump to conclusions about are probably far from the truth.

I'm all for stopping any form of animal cruelty, however...
    1. Do it legally
    2. Know your facts

I've heard enough rubbish coming from animal rights activists who don't know what they're talking about, regarding the farming industry, to know that I don't want anything to do with people like that.

Regarding this article though, (despite my dislike of Oscars Law) puppy farms are horrible horrible places and should definitely be shut down. I didn't read the whole thing, but I get the basic idea of what its about. Something should definitely be done about this place... although I believe it shouldn't involve trespassing or stealing... which is what Oscars Law do regularly.

I'm not looking to argue about my views on animal rights (or Oscars Law). Just sharing my opinion, no problem if people disagree

Thanks Maddogdodge. The link somehow didn't show at all at first and when I edited it it worked for me. But apparently for no one else

    Spiderwick

there would be nothing stopping you from sampling the drinking water provided at my dog club. They do require all dog owners to show proof their dogs are vaccinated before they join tho.

Otherwise - I don't get what the comment has to do with the puppy farm. Sigh.
