Default New dog in the neighbourhood or not?

I have been tricked twice in the last week, by Pohm (rottie x bordeaux).
On hearing something small and yappy, very close by, perhaps on our property, ive been searching to see if a dog has come onto our place. twice ive heard this , yet unable to find it.
    Yesterday, my mystery was solved.

A new dog has arrived, a small yappy thing, has a distinctive yappy sound, gets walked past our place daily. And my rottie girl is mimicking the bark.
    She's very convincing!

Weird hearing a small white fluffies bark, coming out of a rottie. Too funny. She seems to think she's clever too, prances on her toes about, whilst making this silly noise

    anyone elses dog do this?

You should video it, sounds hilarious. Maggie just mimics sirens.

wow. Frosty imitates me imitating her... but not other dogs.

She has taught a number of other dogs (puppies mostly) to do the commando crawl / belly drag grovel greeting... does that count?

    sure does.
mimmicking anything will do. That your dog impersonates you impersonating her, that's amazing. And a huge compliment im sure.
I have my phone on me ready. Just need the dog to go passed.
Its only 6.57am, a few hours yet as they pass around lunch time on w/e's.

Im up as mr pea sized bladder Brian is not making it crated passed 5am currently.
