    Default Candy's Mouse!

I was going to call this thread.."Candy's 1st catch"..but sadley...she's caught lizards, bugs and butterfly's in the backyard

Anyway, lastnight she caught something that IS A PEST she caught a mouse!....but didn't eat it (pheww) she didn't want me to take it away from her either! (it was dead though...and soaking wet from Candy's mouth..eww).
Our cockatiel "bongo" sleeps on the washing machine in the laundry....he has a mouse friend who visits every night and leaves a mess by morning...I'm really hoping this is the same mouse!!! (hehehe)

better than the 'mouse' Kimba caught... TMI to follow!
I saw a brown/white coloured tail hanging out her mouth, I told her 'ta' (our version of drop it) and she spat a used tampon in my hand... I almost wish i had been a mouse She had got into the bathroom bin. The worst part was it wasn't mine....

Kimba always hunts lizards in the yard, shes hopeless though..lol

Nattylou..funny thing is, I have 2 cats!! Our indoor only cat wouldn't know what to do with a mouse Our outdoor cat is a good mouse catcher..he eats them on location then brings them home and regurgitates them at my front door lol

    Sharoo this is disgusting
I would love if Ziggy would catch the mouse living in our kitchen... We can't catch her and she eats Ziggys dry food... Funny thing is, Ziggy sleeps on the other side of the kitchen wall and sometimes she can hear the mouse and is all excited "hunting" but unfortunately on the other wrong side of the wall...

LOL, Oh well done Candy! *Blocks her ears and predends she didnt read Sharoos comment*

I was so proud of Leo the first (And only!) time he caught a mouse. He didnt kill it, just played with it i think and when we found him and asked him to drop it he did, poor mouse was still alive but pretty badly beat up

But we had another mouse in the house the other day, I hate them aswell! Leo and me both ran over to it as it ran along the skirting board, me screaming catch it Leo! Get it! But nope, he just plonked his bum down and watched it! The mouse stopped part way and watched us, me dancing around think shoe? Nah, cant squish it, gross! Umm umm, what do I do! Leo just kicking back! I ran out to grab a container but it got way, LOL

Seriously, if the dog wont catch it, what do you do with a mouse when its right there stopped in front of you! Bet the bloody mouse was laughing his butt off at me!

Sharoo that is gross, but I know exactly how you feel, I had a cat once that stole a used pad out of the bin and ate parts of it and threw other parts of it around the room.

Good for you, ozeymum- be glad that Candy didn't do what another cat of mine would, and eat most of the mouse, leaving the delicious liver for you as a present under the dining table, so that when you sit down for breakfast you get a lovely squishy sensation under your toes...
