    Gee GDS

Are you sure that's what you got? Short coat dog from two shaggy dogs? How did that happen? Tho I've seen a few wire haired poodle cross when it was claimed no wire haired dogs in the parentage.

Sometimes a litter is fathered by more than one dog - oops.

That is a seriously cute puppy, love the gleam in the eyes. keep your shoes locked behind shut doors. The labrador part will eat them

    I gotta agree farrview

does look a lot like a lab.

Most puppies will eat your shoes. Some will eat all your undies and your irrigation hose too.

Update on our Griffey now 9 months old. Not so little anymore but still extremely cute.

Well I see a lot of border collie in the body language and the expressions, very familiar. Lots of joy there.

I do love an update, Jamie23

Can definitely see the BC in the colours and the GR in the head shape and coat length... he sure is handsome.

Willing to bet he's also very enthusiastic about life. Does he like to find his own things to do or does he always look to you for a job eg ball obsessed...

Yes he definitely does have bc colouring and GR body and especially his ears. He does love attention and the beach, he also loves his little Kong rubber toy but most other days he chews apart and will even play with a tennis ball to its chewed apart. However he gets bored with fetch fairly easy haha

What a gorgeous dog he's grown up to be!!! Can definitely see the BC colours and the GR body shape. He looks a lot like the dog I grew up with (a BC cross Springer Spaniel) especially in the second picture Your boy has a heavier build than my dog did though.

    Hi Jamie23

I have heard that tennis balls can wear a dog's teeth down - so I don't let my dog chew on them too often - once a month maybe and I put it in the bin as soon as it's in pieces...

She likes chewing on chuckit balls too - they last a lot longer than tennis balls with that kind of treatment - like a year of beach walks - vs one tennis ball per walk. But I don't leave her to chew on those either. She still chews them a fair bit.

Probably the only thing she chews on that lasts longer than five minutes - apart from the occasional bit of green tree branch - is a black kong stuffed with frozen food...
