    Yeah that's what I was worried about with this dog. A lot of dogs won't turn around and say 'you know what i think i've had enough for now'. That's why I don't like to see a dog that looks like it's been pushed too hard.

    Yep - I agree !

    A lot of people don't do the required prep with a pup to make sure they will be fine with a particular exercise routine.

    It would have been more useful to wet the dog down - feet, tummy and then be given a drink - to cool it down more quickly.

    If a pup is panting for a very long time - as you said - then that to me is the pup was very stressed !
