I'm not having any dramas at all. Works fine for me.

The lack of spam has been good too. Although i only log on once maybe twice a day.

    Hi Di Diee

Why the need for different IP's?
As best I can tell Dogman's Telstra IP addresses are blocked for some reason so he finds some free? proxy server somewhere to get a different IP address (Mitte was good at this) and uses that to connect to this website.

I'm only guessing it's a Telstra IP - because someone else had a similar problem. I do know that Telstra sometimes shuts down whole ranges of IP addresses to get one person using Telstra to "Spam" because I had to sort a Telstra customer out with a different mail server so she could send emails again.

    Makes no sense to me.

I wonder if my IP is still blocked when I copy and paste ?

At this point a month later and nothing seems to have been done about it...I'm not game to try as I'll run out of IPs...then what ?

If telstra itself is blocking the IPs so they can not access the forum have you talen the matter up with them dogman? It may not be a forum fault. I have no idea but it is just a thought.

    Hi Di,

I doubt Telstra would do anything...as I'm not with them and even if I was...we all know what they're like don't we. From what I have experienced so far it's when I copy and paste a reply from Word into a thread it's marked as spam and my IP is blocked...so if I don't C&P I should be alright for now. As I have said before...this is the only site on the Net that this happens and no ISP could do anything about it.

Another random thought then, why not just directly type your post here instead of copying and pasting them from word?
If being timed out is a problem then ticking the remember me box when logging in stops this.

Telstra will help - but it is not their problem ! My computer guru did a bit of searching and came back with the question - ' There are thousands and thousands of dog forums on the internet why ..... well I will leave the rest blank !

I have been doing C & P since I have been allowed back and the only problem I had was with 1 link - once I got rid of that all got posted.

Also, I type my stuff up using Word before I even go onto the thread - then it is just a very quick C & P. Just a suggestion !

I give up...I look on the bright side if this is the only site on the web that I have this problem...I can live with that.
