Maybe Serena needs something like this ?

Staffordshire Bull Terrier enjoys mud bath (VIDEO) DogHeirs | Where Dogs Are Family Keywords: mud bath, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, funny, video

Never get tired of seeing this video - but really pleased she found clean water to rinse before getting in the car !

That staff would have the most supple skin ever. Maybe you could market a mud spa for staffys.

Anyway, as promised, here are some photos I took of Serena. We had fun at the beach yesterday and our recall is coming along in leaps and bounds. I haven't worked on 'sit' command at yet but that is on the cards some time in the not-to-distant future.

As Serena was a breeding dam and maybe a 'show princess' - sit would not have been in the instructions for her in everyday life !

Yes - it will have to be trained to a 'code word' from you - but looking at the photos that you have finally put up - it looks like you will have no problems !

None of that breeder's dogs are currently showing, haven't for nearly 10 years. Sometimes they buy in show dogs from elsewhere for breeding but they don't bother doing any themselves.

And given how uncomfortable Serena is around people - I don't think she'd have enjoyed being a show dog.

Love the mud video. Mud is good for the skin. And many SBT have skin problems... so I'm not surprised about that dog enjoying a nice cooling mud bath.

There's no video but I knew someone who was about 4 - decided to get into the mud around grandma's rose garden, completely blacked up with it and then went around to her parents enjoying their tennis party with friends - and along with the child's tribe of like painted small children, announced that they were all "aboriginies".
