    Default Oops

I had to drop a foster kitten off to his new home yesterday. It was a fair drive from home so we timed it so we could then continue driving on to the river where we were going to spend the afternoon with friends. That's why I had Banjo in the car. The new owners of the kitten lived in an apartment. I tied Banjo up at the only tethering point I could see in the shade close to the front door: a bollard shaped path light. The kitten people came down to let us in and as soon as they opened the door I heard a crash behind me. In her excitement to greet these strangers, Banjo had pulled the whole light right of its base. You could see the wires coming out of the bottom, the top came off, the bulb broke and there were little bits of broken plastic everywhere. Oops.

Of course I offered to pay for the damage, but the guy just screwed the light back onto its base and put the top back on told me nothing had happened. lol! (They did say they'd never seen it work anyway)

must have happened before. Ie not Banjos fault, already broken.

But would give you quite the fright.

And another reason why I have a crate stashed in my giant 4WD handbag.

I've been meaning to get a soft crate to keep in the car. I'd forgotten about it. I had to take Banjo up to the apartment and she was so overexcited. Very annoying, wouldn't hold her sit or down. She did eventually calm down after I did a quick walk around the lounge room to let her sniff.
