    Angry They just don't understand

Ok my rant for the day... Yes i've been waiting a long time for my pedigree puppy and yes I've just found out it will be a small litter so my chances of getting a puppy have decreased, and yes i've been sending my friends mad posting puppy pics on facebook every second day and then being upset that I might have to wait another 6 months for my next chance at a puppy but totally annoyed that an ignorant friend just posted back -

'Surely there's a dozen breeders in the country ... go for a drive, even an adventure my friend and procure your puppy with a good story to boot!'

    My reply -

'It's not that simple. it takes ages to find a reputable breeder who has a proper breeding program to lessen genetic issues and is not just a puppy mill. Then you need to spend time getting to know the dogs so you know the temperament and condition of the breeding stock and build up a relationship with the breeder so they trust you enough to sell you a puppy. this is how you responsibly buy a pedigree dog and while it's hard it will be worth the wait.'

GRRR people think its as easy as jumping in the car and driving round til you find a puppy. Though having said that I have warned my OH that if I don't get a puppy soon I may turn into one of those mad ladies who walk into hospitals and steal babies only for me it would be a puppy LOL

Aaawwww... lovely but we want a British Bulldog not American and British bulldogs hardly ever need a rehome probably because they are so awesome

My breeder had a 5 month old she was willing to sell a little while back but by then I hadn't convinced my OH to let me get two and I really want the puppy experience as I haven't had that before, plus we weren't quite ready to buy then.

Until you have a dog, that is suffering due to bad breeding, i dont think you can 'get it'
