So still no answer from the breeder, beginning to worry that i scared her off am trying to be calm and remember that she said she busy with daughter and SIL moving back home while their house is being rennovated, also it took a week for the other email to be answered and I know she's got more important things to do than answer my emails. *sigh* still patience isn't a virtue of mine so at the moment i'm like a puppy shut in the laundry all day, whinging and any minute now i'm gonna start pooing and peeing everywhere to show my anxiety.

Try and be patient. Puppy time is busy enough let alone going through extra family stuff!!

And it doesn't mean she has more important things to do - maybe it means that she wants to devote the time and care to replying that you deserve...

patience is good - in balance. If it took a week last time... allow at least a week and then maybe phone up with your list in front of you and just chat. Sometimes dog people aren't much for typing, and some are a bit paranoid about putting things in writing though anything really important to you like a 2 week money back guarantee and maybe pro rata or breeder is first option if you couldn't keep the dog for whatever (tragic unimaginable) reason - you should get in writing - eventually. Most caring breeders do want their puppies back if things go wrong and you can't find a good home for them.

    I digress...

Some breeders prefer to answer questions by talking, not by email. So they're not misunderstood at all and sometimes just because they're not that great at typing.

Thanks Hyacinth, its just the last time I spoke to her on the phone and said that I had questions she said 'email them to me'. I have offered to talk over the phone or go to her property but I think she just wants to be able to deal with them in her own time. We are going on holiday in Nov, so I will definitely call her before then to 'touch base'. It's just hard to be all geared up and preparing for a puppy that you don't even know if you are going to get.
