The difference is absolutely amazing! Obviously she still has a long way to go though.

Thank you every one for your donations! It's wonderful! I have a car full of stuff that everyone from our dog park has donated so will take a trip down to Brisbane on Friday to drop them off and give you another update then!

    Hi everyone,

I went down to Brisbane this morning to drop off all the donations I have collected from our local dog park, Anya is doing soooo much better, I can't believe the change! Obviously she is still skinny (everything is going to the pups) but she is so much happier, her eyes are a million times brighter, she has energy and her tail is wagging!
She was having 'puppy free time' and is such a smart girl, she knows sit, stay, down, shake, bed, leave etc.. she's very sweet and friendly and Tam (who runs the rescue) has done such a great job in less than a week!

The next job is to find her a forever home that she can go to in a few months, she is really really sweet and I don't think she has a mean bone in her body. The old owners have said that she's a mastiff x bull arab (which makes a lot more sense than when they said bandog) so please take notice if you know anyone looking for a new family member (obviously she will need a home that wants her, not just one that feels sorry for her!).

Thanks again for your donations everyone! I'll keep you updated on her progress

    Hi guys,

I've been a bit busy lately so haven't had time to update.. Unfortunately a few days ago one of the pups (the little runt) stopped feeding, the rescue lady did all that she could but sadly the little pup passed away

Anya and the other 9 pups are going great... Anya seems so much more happy and lively in all the photos

Love that second pic! That looks like a content dog to me.

Sorry to hear about the pup. But losing 1 out of 10 is a fantastic outcome in such dire circumstances.

What a heartbreaking experience. That poor mumma dog. Doing all she can to protect her babies.
    She looks so sad.
I'm sure it was a very heart wrenching thing to be involved in,
but good on you for going in and getting them.

    sad about the puppy....

    glad mum doing so well.
from your first post about woman saying dogs where very aggressive, and your comment how you got down and mother licked your hand, straight away i know that the vicious dog is a load of bs, and just a poor dog trying to survive in a bad environment.
you can tell alot about a dog who will greet an open hand with palm faceing up with a lick of thank you.
