Ha, well my bull terrier/border collie bitch of which proportions I have no idea is somewhere between 1 and 77. She's the smartest dog I've ever owned so maybe closer to the 1 than the 77.

And I'm sorry, but I just won't accept that my mastiff is a 93 compared to a red setter's 48. He's smart, just selective as to who he shows

Well Brian at number 9 falls into th top 10. This does not surprise me he learns so fast, remembers and uses a lot of what he has been taught to his own advantage. Example would be 'trade' when you ask him to exchange a forbidden item for a treat or toy. He soon worked out to find a shoe, pen, coaster etc then stand in front of me waiting to trade He anticipates and is always watching for clues to what's happening next.

I believe the dogs with the low scores such as Mastiffs, Bull breeds etc are easier to raise and live with, learn basic commands and are more relaxed and content to just be with you.

Whole heartedly agree if Kelpies where there they would be right at the top of the list.

As mine is kelpie x staffy (presumably) I can't rate her.

I was also surprised to see labs in the top 10.

Lol, Emm318. Love the "trade" concept.
