    Default What an Idiot!!!!!

I honestly couldn't think of a person more stupid, irresponsible and lacking in social intelligence than the guy I saw yesterday.

Had a group of dogs at the local sporting oval for their group walk. Saw a guy pull into the entrance so put our dogs on lead. Just as I was going to get the last dog (friendly) this guy chucks his two working breeds over the fence. They bark at him all excited waiting for him to come in (the nearest gate is 20m along the fence line. The guy jumps back in his car. I figure he's driving in to park along the open dirt area before coming in. He drove along the fence line at about 20-30kph while the dogs chased along and barked. He did a u-turn at the end and repeated in the other direction. He did this about 4 times then drove behind a building. An older lady was walking past with her little dog. There is an opening in the fence. The dogs run out to "greet" this little dog. The owner reappears to put them back in the car and leave.

WHAT A TOOL! Are there any greater tool stories than this out there? I wish there wasn't but I'm sure there are...

There are people who stop their car outside my parent's house everyday, drop their 'yap yap' onto the footpath and drive a few hundred metres up the road (its a straight road) with the dog barking and chasing after them, then they stop, open door so dog can get back in the car, and they drive off...

I know a complete tosser who used to let his Ridgeback out at the bottom of his parents really long driveway and would race the dog to the top of the hill every day. Then one day the idiot ran over his bloody dog causing the dog some nasty grazing along its belly ...somehow no bones where broken.

    Sorry Scooby......I'll never forgive myself.

Is that what qualifies for a walk in their terms? haha. Terrible. Sean, what's so bad about the racing him to the top part? Apart from the running over thing..unless I missed the general gist of your post :P

A long long time ago - I saw an ijut run over his border collie this way - he was driving his ute up and down Aldinga beach and as border collies do - it herded him and cut him off in front and he went straight over the top. I was only a kid at the time - but it's etched in my head. Pretty sure that one was killed outright and instantly.

There is a lady who baby sits a couple of kids near where I live, and she has two grumpy dogs she leaves in the car until it's time to go home, and then she lets them out, and they come and harass my dog - who rolls over, and then she drives away with her dogs following her along the footpath. They're going to get killed. It's not like the other traffic in the area is that forgiving.

I have a licence plate tho. If I see those dogs in that car in that car park again - I'm ringing the council for the ranger.

Nothing really...except now i look back it was pretty obvious it was going to happen sooner or later. He was always right next to the ute where i couldnt see him.
I remember carrying him into the vets and she asked what happened. "I ran over him"....she just looked at me with a dumb look and said "you ran over your own dog ?!?!"....
    Made me feel even worse.

Yeah true...I don't even move my car (onto the lawn to wash it for example) without tying the dogs up. I mean, I know they know to get out of the way but I don't want to risk it - what if they see a bird behind the car and go for it? D:
