Default Ipswich council dog theft warning.

This fence tagging thing seems to be legit.....Enough for the council to issue a warning just yesterday to tell pet owners its not them marking the propertys. Staffys and Mastiffs are the most targeted breeds aparently.

This is really sad ! I was going to put up some links on your previous thread - more or less debunking this.

Once these pups are stolen for dog fighting - I really can't see the benefit of microchipping - but good on you councillor for reminding people of their obligations.

Regardless - if for resale or other - still a very despicable action by ........ (fill in the blanks)

Wow, pretty horrible. Not heard of it here in Darwin but I'm glad to be one of the many with a big fence and a padlock on the gate. Stops god-botherers, politicians and assorted annoying drop-ins.

I find the whole thought of dog fighting heartbreaking.

My son has a staffy and he is such a sweetie.

If they manage to find the dog fight location and those dogs - that's when the microchips will help identify the dogs as stolen...

Im with you Sona. Its just heart breaking.
I own a dog that is popular for this. The thought that she would be made to fight, makes me feel sick
