    Default Dog fighting in Australia.

Seems they are marking peoples property now with paint or ribbon on fences, driveways etc.....potential 'warm up dogs' live here. Keep a eye out for anything like this on your property guys.

Well this whole Facebook thing seems to be paying off with lots of good info and sites on there. I stumbled across these guys and thought they should get a shout out here. If your interrested have a looksy.

Definitely happens, I have a friend in the UK who's been keeping tabs on the fighting situation there, since he has two smallish dogs (pug x jack russel I think), used as blood bait. He's had neighbours have their dogs pinched for bait and never seen again, and yes they were marked with an 'X' in spray paint. Disgusting - I hope the fighting dogs turn on their 'masters'.

Kinda dumb question, but what sort of folks attend these dog fights?
Its such a cruel activity, clearly not good for dogs, but surely that level of violence, even dog to dog violence would only attract the more sociopath folks?

It's quite common here sadly enough. You dont leave your dog out at night as bait dogs are always in demand. We keep our guys inside if no one is home as they are softies and would be prime material. Sad that someone needs to risk their dog dying or seriously bloody injured to feel like a big man.....
