lol.. they wont know what hit them
please take lots of photos and post them up, id love to see them. Tell your friends to work on their tan before they go over. that way the locals will think they have been there for a while and they wont get hassled as much.
    relax and enjoy your break

Hey guys....I'm back.....finally !! Our flight home got cancelled and the air line put us up for 2 more days in the 5 star Remada Hotel !!! Never before have i been so happy to get a flight cancelled. I was cheering while everyone else was spewing about it !!

Mind you we where at the airport about to board LOL.

Only walked in the door 3 hours ago and i'm knackered so heres a quick run down on the Bali dog situation.....my goofs included.

It was almost a total disaster before we even left Bundy. I drove both Goofs to the kennels as i have many times before with no issue....

    But this time......

The Brindle Bastard Bronx decided he loves visiting the kennel so much that he jumped out the window before we even stopped at the entrance !!!
No joke as the ute comes to a stop i'm looking at the front door only to see the d.i.c.k.head rolling along the ground beside us !!!

The lady came running out in total shock to see if he's OK and just watched in disbelief as he shook it off and ran up to her for a pat LOL. I didnt know wether to be pissed off, shocked myself, or relieved he wasnt hurt. In the end i was just bloody embarressed he did it !! The window wasnt even all the way down. Usually he rides chained up in the back of the ute but silly me didnt go to the tip in time so it was full of rubbish so he rode with me and Mojo inside the ute. Never again !!!

Anyway they just mauled me with slobber as i picked them both up about a hour ago....happy to be home with thier family. They where the only reason i was happy to be home again.

The BARC rescue place was pretty full on. I took my camera in and did film stuff which i havnt seen yet but i'm not expecting to much good footage as i was walking around in awe at the whole situation. They where stoked with the donations and one of the young girls took me for a quick tour of the place.

Man, do they have a job ahead of them......everything from car accident victims to Mafia run dog fighting rings , mistreated dogs to dumped litters ....and everything in between. I walked out wondering how they do it. Thier staff get harrassed by Mafia, the councils make life extra hard for them re negging on approvals and promises, cops dont punish anyone and yet the dogs keep rolling in. It was a hell of a eye opener and i'm pretty sure i didnt do the place justice with what i filmed but when i get a chance i'll try and put a quick video together.

Overall the street dogs looked alot better than i rememberd and there seemed to be a hell of a lot less of them walking around. I was begining to think the few diffrent rescue mobs thier might have been making a real diffrence.....and they sure do, but it wasnt till i was kicking back with a beer when i picked up a local paper and stumbled across this story. The dog called 'Sanur' story explained alot.

It's a good write up about BARC but i was shocked at what i was reading.

    Have a read here....

Just a quick note on how to help: They offer sponsorships for their dogs. It's a great birthday/christmas pressie for any dog lover I would think. Gave OH a virtual dog ('David') by sponsoring him. Payment is done through paypal - no hassle and no extra fees. But if the monthly payment option is too difficult for whatever reason, it's also possible to pay a one off amount.

Much more worthwhile than something that'll just catch dust on a shelf in the garage...
