Default Sherlocks desex has upset things here!

My son's dog (frequent house guest for doggie day care) has been desexed, at last!

He's a year old. Has always had his favorite, and that's - pohm.

Now desexed, he seems to think bernie is the best thing since sliced bread! And whilst still spooning on pohm bed to sleep, awake, its bernie who's in his sights. Very attentive, obedient to him. Till bernie gets up and steps into the 'rumpus arena' so to speak. And they are off, zoomies haven. Sherlock cannot escape bernie, whereas he's too agile for pohm. These 2 rarely played like this previously.

do you think the desex has done this? We are at week 3 post op.

I don't know but I'm guessing you'll get replies from those with more experience.
Just wanted to say that I'd love to see current pics of Sherlock

Here he is, wussing on the bank. Despite 2 excellent water dog role models, still wusses on the bank lol This is the xmas break camping.

Interesting....Bronx didnt change one iota.....zip, zilch, didnt slow down one bit. Well, except for the obvious change...a little bit lighter.

Glad Sherlock pup has recovered well.

Pohm must be enjoying the peace....

More of an age thing - than anything else - 'Bernie'.

The little pup is growing up - not being such a needy and a PITA pup - and gaining more confidence and finds playing with Bernie is much more fun and more to his liking now.

He still seeks out Pohm for comfort - but the real fun is with Bernie.

All you are seeing are just changes that happen in a pack as they all age - particularly with a pup in the mix !

Bernie' - you have always had a pack - you and family and your pups - now the add-in of the extra pup ! smiley-eatdrink004.gif

Now - some places I have lived in over the years - people there lived in packs - and didn't own any dogs ! smiley-laughing021.gif
