    Default Do not throw sticks.

This photo is a bit graphic but gives an excellant example of why throwing sticks for a dog is extremely dangerous.

My OH's bosses dog lost his eye from a stick - it got in behind his molars and travelled up to pierce the eyeball.

I think the main problem is that people forget what is possible when you throw a stick, To be honest it would never have come to my mind before seeing this.
Though I've always been the type to use a ball instead for fetch.

LOL Can't say I care! I take mine everywhere. My dogs like to tug on them and chase them. I think they like the feel of them in their mouths.

I'm sure Reyzor is a big fan of the safestix too. Somtimes he even lets his dog play with it.
