Funny you say that beloz she gets eggs for brekky with her biscuits. my girl friends dog(who is a 78kg sth african mastiff) lovessss egg and has been known to get into the chook pen. so we think the 2 dogs joined forces and toffee found the toys with legs while sarge(the horse dog) ate the eggs for a snack. I just hope she never meets another chook

If I believed everything that was said by people and some vets I would never known the joy of owning a Rottie, Dobermann or GSD.

When you own one of these breeds or bull breeds for that mater, you then realize that many people are afraid or hate them for reasons only know to them. My Rottie who wouldn't hurt a fly (expect Cats) and is very gentle walked into the petbarn with me a few years ago, well you should have seen people scatter especially a woman with a small child run for their lives. The staff were very good and gave her some treaties.

Years ago I was walking my Dobermann girl who was brown down the street, someone stopped to pat her and when I said "your patting a Dobermann" he pulled his hand away so quickly he nearly dislocated his elbow. When walking a GSD everyone crosses the street to the other side.

The Doberman was chosen by the US Marines for the Memorial Statue.
From memory they located and flushed out the enemy hiding in tunnels on Iwo Jima.

Dodge doesn't hurt our chooks... she just steals the eggs out of the nest
and Koda has never gotten the chance to meet our chooks properly, simply because i know he would kill them. He wouldn't mean to... he'd just... kinda... play with them to death... literally...

I wouldnt worry about the taste of blood thing... Dodge goes out hunting for rabbits all the time, and she often catches and eats them. Yet she is still the sweetest dog i know

There is a little story with sarge . He is a rescue dog. When he was surrendered he was skin on bone, his hair was missing because of mange and parasite. They thought is was better to put him to sleep and to keep him suffering. My girlfriend was there and asked if she could give it a go and tyr and help this lovely young man. It has taken her 12 months to get him to where he is today and my lord he is a wonderful boof head. He has the temperment of a saint. I love him to bits
That didnt work as well as i thought it would. i will post more photos when i can work out how to change the photo size.
