    Default I love my Meika

We've had a kitten for 3 days now and Meika has gone from never meeting a cat to putting up with this...

What is the world coming too. Some people say the Zombie apocalypse is coming.....they dont worry me one bit.

It's the cats i'm concerned about. Slowly but surely they are convincing dogs not to rip them apart.....slowly but surely this forum is turning into a cat forum !!

Looks like its me and the goofs vs the world !!

I've spoken to Harley and Bella (Jadiee's dogs) as soon as shes not looking they are coming to live with us in doggy world.....theres room for you too Meika....PM me when Kristy's playing cat lover and we'll sort out a rescue mission for you too!!

Even Dex has caught this disease it seems. He loves his new chew toy, and apparently the chew toy loves him back, hehe

    Meika and Dex are amazing!
Misha hasn't shared space with a cat but there is one that prances in her line of sight each morning and she goes ballistic! I'm often tempted to let her loose to see what happens! She's such a gentle hearted sook that I don't think she'd do anything more than race over to investigate (and probably come home bearing the scars!), but when you hear her barking to protect her territory it makes you wonder!

Kristy how is Molly with the kitten?

You might be surprised. Our two used to go ballistic at the neighbour's cat but it's a different story up close! Molly is OK, she is very curious and follows him everywhere, she's not aggressive in any way and we're not worried, she's just taking a bit longer to understand what he is.. At least it's good practice for the 'leave' command!

We had a foster cat that would attack Banjo's tail every morning. Cracked me up. And the more I laughed, the faster Banjo would wag and the more the kitten would attack and the harder I'd laugh, etc. Lovely way to start the morning.

I don't really get where this cat vs dog idea comes from. Yes, dogs will chase cats, just like they will chase everything else that moves. But I grew up with cats and dogs in the one house and they're great together. I don't see why you need to be either a dog or a cat person. I'm just a pet person.

Beloz, as a young fella growing up in NZ and OZ you would get beaten up if you went to school and told the boys about your cool cat ....... it's a man thing.....cats are for girls, dogs are for boys. I guess we grew up in diffrent worlds.

I'm a pet person too but i prefer the love, affection, loyalty and protection only a dog can offer.

Plus, when i was a kid i picked up a cat and it shat all over me.........i forgive but i never forget...LOL.
