It's universal. Blokes like talking about killing fluffy kittens everywhere. It's a macho thing.

I like the love, affection, loyalty and protection my dog offers and I like the affection, independence, fearlessness and obligation-free companionship a cat offers. And I think the kitteh-hating blokes are very wrong. Cats are way tougher than dogs. They are the ultimate survivors.

My cat comes running up to the car to greet me when I get home. She rolls over for tummy rubs. She talks to me when I walk past. She comes when called. She goes for walks with me, even heels - though only close to the house. She'll confidently walk up to any dog that approaches her, even if they're 5 times bigger than her. She can outrun/jump/climb any dog. She kills and sometimes eats mice and rats. I can play with her, but she's happy to entertain herself too. She takes herself for walks. She is great company, makes me laugh all the time and is very low maintenance. She is not as attached to Banjo as our previous foster, but they get on well. Every dog should come with a free cat! lol

    Made my day!!!

Poor Meika is getting it now, every time she lays her head down he pounces on it or swipes her face and then is gone again by the time she opens her eyes. Lucky she is quiet haha!

How can you not love this face Sean..

My current foster cat marcus and my dog panda are constantly playing for hours a day. they love it. It's weird.
No one loves you like your dog does.

You're so lucky! I'd love my dogs to get on with cats. Unfortunately one is fear aggressive towards them (they HISS!!!) and the other one seems to join in Very sad... I miss kitty company a lot.

And I agree about the blokes-tough-talk-hating-cats... Seems to be a pretty universal occurance.

OHH...Mieka, Bronx is on his way to sort stuff out. He 's willing to run the 5 odd hours south so you can have the last of YOUR kibble.....although his fees might be a few bits for himself and a no dobbing as to what happened to the kibble eating kitty

If Bronx came here, I'd never let him leave!
