Just the one pup, his names Diesel. Just turned 8 weeks old.

I think i need some tips on flea treatments and worming. What do you guys use / advise?

    Aw he is beautiful!!!

For worming I use interceptor which is a monthly chew that covers intestinal and heartworm and for fleas you can't go past comforts. I would just check the correct dosages with your vet first though and make sure comforts is ok for pups. If you did go with it I would give after food as well as some dogs can vomit or have a reaction.

Although if you don't have any issues with fleas as the moment sentinel may be a good idea, it is the same as interceptor but I think helps prevent fleas although it won't kill them if you already have an issue.

How are you going with his socialisation?

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.

    Why ?

Didn't the breeder of your pup give you this sort of information as to what your pup has been treated with before you got him ! Like how often and what product was used !

If not, then I would be finding a vet to advise me as to what I should be doing with my brand new pup !

My pup Riley is not treated for fleas or ticks - this is my decision - plus the vet knows this - but - he is wormed on a regular basis and has his yearly shots.

You will get a lot of advice on the Internet - but with a brand new pup - start off how you would like to continue - and get the correct advice first from your vet.
