    Default Holiday plans

I have never, ever in my life looked forward to a holiday more than now. I have been under so much stress lately that sometimes I feel like I'm just going to implode. Or explode which is code for 'rip someone's head off'! lol

Still lots of stuff to deal with over the next couple of weeks. But then, on 6 Jan, we're going to the NSW Far South Coast and camp for 2 weeks. My daughter, Banjo and me.

The first time we went to this campground with Banjo was just awesome. It's a dog friendly place obviously and also a 'primitive campground'. So no marked sites, you can claim your own bit of space under the gum trees. And no one minds if your dog wanders a bit. Which is very important to me because there is no way I would tie my dog up all the time. Surprisingly, even though Banjo's jumping then was much worse still than now, she behaved impeccably! She loves the beach, will get into the shallow water with my daughter, enjoys being outdoors all day (and night if there were possums about) and she accompanied my daughter if she went off on her own too. She also made a few doggy friend and it was just fantastic to walk down to the beach and have them all come say hello and have a play with Banjo every day.

Just a perfect holiday for child and dog which makes me happy too. Even though my idea of a perfect holiday is to sit in the hammock with a beer staring at the ocean for most of the day!

Do you have any doggy holidays planned?

2 glorious weeks camping by the beach in an idyllic setting sounds fantastic! You'll be so relaxed you won't want to go home Very happy for you.
What do you do with Banjo when you have to go into town for supplies?

We just take her with and leave her in the car. Or tie her up outside the supermarket if we cannot park in the shade. She is very good at waiting outside the shop. Just lies down and relaxes.

Our next doggy holiday is for a week at the end of Feb. There will be 5 adults and 3 dogs sharing a house in Budgewoi 300 metres from the off-leash ocean beach for a week.
Love our doggy hols! We go somewhere different but near a 24/7 off-leash beach every time. So far we have been lucky with the accommodation, hope this next one works out as well!

I dream of the day when Misha can be trusted outside a shop! There is a coffee club a short walk from my place, I'd love to be able to wander down, buy a coffee and kick back beside the river opposite! One day one day one day ....

I don't trust people. I lost a dog because someone untied him.

Banjo will stay put even when not tied up. Don't ask me how I know this, but I do.

Sounds great Beloz! Pack me in your car? lol

We aren't doing anything this xmas, we have a house to renovate before the little one comes along so my days will probably be spent painting walls

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.
