Not to be offensive but they should not have this type of dog, I think you would be better to find a new home for Kirby with people who have time and space.

I have to agree. Although... I don't know where abouts in Melbourne they live, but I actually saw today a place that does doggy day care. Its down towards Southland shopping centre. If its within a reasonable distance at all, I can go back past and get the details for you if it could help. I'm assuming (I've never used one) that you'd drop the dog off in the morning, where he'll have people and other dogs around him all day (and being a golden, once he gets used to it, he should enjoy it) and then pick him up after work. Let me know if you'd like me to get you the number or anything.

If this location doesn't help, maybe try the phone book, you might be able to find something similar in your area.

It was something like this Diggiddydoggydaycare (Melbourne,VIC)

or this Dog Day Care | Dog Play Centre - Dog Zone Melbourne - Australia's First Dog Daycare and Play Centre and Canine Creche, Melbourne
