    Default Best Dog Names

I am reading a book in which a dog is called Stug ( guts spelled backwards).. made me laugh. I once knew a bullie x called kick start ( really suited him. What are some of the other good names people have enjoyed?

Our old beer-loving friend had a mastiff called "fourex" and I also know a boxer called "dude"... really suits the boxer personality

'Pooch' is the only name friends of mine use !

As they are up to their eighth Black Lab - it was thought to save confusion and visitors would always get the name of the resident pup correct !

I have some friends that named their dog "oi!", and another friend called his dog "wouldya" - as in 'would ya get lost' or 'would ya come here'.

My old next door neighbour called his border collie "Boags" after the Tasmanian beer.

My BIL's dog is called Dog, the cat was called Horse. Yep he's a fan of the cartoon.

I once had a puppy who we were worried was going to answer to the name Jesus Christ. He was so destructive and always up to mischief, that that was normally the first word out of our mouths when around him.
