    Default Good dog

We went to a festival on the weekend so left Banjo with friends. I was quite apprehensive about this because they have a 4yo who screams in terror every time Banjo even just looks at her. This has its origins in the ONE time Banjo jumped up at her, which was probably almost a year ago when I made the mistake of briefly leaving the room that Banjo was in with my daughter and this little girl.

But I minded my friends' dog for 3 weeks a few months back so they owed me.

When I picked her up my friend reported that Banjo had been perfectly well behaved. She didn't jump up at any of them even once and was just no trouble at all. Her oldest daughter had thoroughly enjoyed having her around and the little one had definitely gotten over most of her fear.

I'm so proud of her. She is such an easy dog. But because she still has this one issue with jumping up at other people when they visit or when we meet them outside our home, most people don't realise what a well behaved dog she is.

The friends that have looked after her so far all reported that the jumping ceased completely once she was in their care. I wish I knew what went on in her mind there...

isn't it weird how dogs can be so good... intermittantly like that.

obviously she got all she needed being a good dog so she didn't need to resort to extreme measures to get attention from anyone.

Her behaviour is pretty consistent. It's just that I have miserably failed to analyse the pattern and use it to my advantage!

My kids do the same thing.!!!

The monsters turn into little angels when we have babysitters or leave them at friends places.!!

Unfortunately most people are intimidated by the goofs so they go to a kennel now if i'm away for more than 2 nights (otherwise a nieghbour feeds them) but they geta A+ report everytime.

If only we could read thier minds hey Beloz.
