    Default Banjo's sister?

    A dog just got listed on petrescue that really is the spitting image of Banjo: Susie - Medium Female Mix in NSW - PetRescue She is also the same age. And I know that Banjo was found wandering along a highway with her sister when she got picked up and brought to a Sydney shelter at 14 weeks of age. So that all sounds like it could be her sister. Only, she is now in a country pound.

    I started writing to the rescue org that listed her, but then I stopped myself because I don't think I can do anything for this dog anyway. But it is kinda hard to think that her litter mate ended up there.

    Im pretty sure, that now is not the time to adopt another either. But someone will. Its a good looking dog.
    And Medium/Female Mix could also be pohm. or the spitting image and no relation to Banjo.
    this comes to mind:
    grant me the serenity
    to accept the things I cannot change;
    courage to change the things I can;
    and wisdom to know the difference

    No, she really is the spitting image, not just a similar mix. But I had to laugh because her description starts with: "I may not be the prettiest girl in town". Haha!

    May not be the prettiest.
    Wow, i think this dog has a lovely face! beauty is in the eye of the beholder i guess
    either way Beloz. Not now honey, not now.
    This time, someone closer to home needs rescuing. One at a time eh?
    Coz the next step, come when it may, means you can do what the feck you like in your own place. Nobody gets to dictate when your lease is up ever again. Powerful stuff for solo ladies. empower yourself to get a really great place as some lucky dogs soft landing.
    Kinda would be a great cummupance, for banjo to meet another jumper with similar traits, but a bitches tenacity for MORE. But some dog will get that break, later im sure.

    Banjo is a bitch, Bernie. She just ended up with a boy's name for some reason. lol And she has the most awesome dog-to-dog social skills I've ever seen in a dog. Never pushy unless she is very sure the other dog is into rough and tumble.

    Once we're in our own place, I intend to foster for a while. Just one dog, not too big a problem case and we'll see how we go like that. I might only do it for one dog if I find it impacts too much on our lifestyle. Or I might do it for a couple of years and eventually end up with a permanent second dog.

    She is gorgeous Beloz, I'm very partial to brindle dogs ... It must have been very tempting to do an enquiry, but yes once you're in your own place you have all the freedom in the world ...

    Wonder if she is from Banjo's litter?? She does look so similar to her profile pic...

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't resist checking out Pet Rescue for no valid reason!!
    If only I had a bigger house and a decent yard ... sigh ...

    "But I do have a valid reason, my friend is looking for a dog", she said, remembering that the first time she ever got a dog was because she drove a friend looking for a dog to the RSPCA. Friend was still dogless on our return, but I had a big staghound cross on my bed.
