Default My stumpy tail cattle mix?

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has any idea what is mixed with my Stumpy tail cattle dog (Astro) From looking at images of other dogs I think he could be crossed with Bull Arab.

He is too lanky to be pure stumpy i think. He is only 12 weeks old also.

He's a georgeous looking little man.
Both my dogs have bull arab in them and he looks to me like he has that in him.
If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them. ~Phil Pastoret

You are getting a Snoopy dog like I did. Lol.
He will be a love bunny, very affectionate and fun loving.hug1.JPG
Do you think his tail is docked?
There is a list of GSP genes, I will find later or maybe RileyJ
    could put them up.

I dunno what he is. He looks like my dog but she stayed medium size ie didn't get any bigger full grown than he seems to be now. PS mine does have a tail. I think she has kelpie x bc in her as well as the Smithfield like ACD.

Thanks everyone for the replies, I pretty sure his tail is not docked, a litter of six where found out in the forestry and taken to the refuge, there where some red cattle and blue cattle with long and stumpy tails,

they all had the same heads though and where lanky looking, but yea Astro just loves to cuddle 24/7 unless he is wrestling with my cats haha

Hi ' Ijosh89' and what a cute looking pup you have there !

As others have suggested, there could be GSP in the mix because of the 'bull arab' part of the pup.

Have a look at this from our forum that '
    chubbsecurity' mentioned:

Also have a look at the following - just some light (?) reading for you:

His tail looks the same as a naturally short tailed stumpy tail. There's a few breeds that sometimes have naturally short tails. Boxers and Corgis come to mind. And I'm pretty sure Corgis and Cattle dogs have some common ancestry.

I hope the refuge - desexes them all to prevent further unplanned litters. Got enough feral and unwanted dogs already.

Or the National Desex Network can link you up with a vet that will do you a good deal.
