Default heterochromia in dogs, Does your dog have this?

Its just come to light to me , after a vet call out (friend of the family) to meet my new puppy, Who only just arrived home today.

My lil bubba Bayard has partial/sectoral heterochromia in one eye, And it looks as tho he has Just plane heterochromia [aswell].

After A LOT of reassurance that this something, that is very UNLIKELY to be a problem in the future.
Aswell as a few hours of research on the internet, Im kind of excited to have this as lovely bonus in my new puppy.

I was wondering if there are more people out there with fur kids with the same thing ?
I searched the forum for 'heterochromia' and nothing came up, surely there are more on this board? Its meant to be as about common as red headed person with fair skin and freckles...........So where are these other pooches hiding?

Im yet to get a good quality picture of Bayards eyes, but I am trying so watch this space

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that where the eyes are different colours? One blue, one brown, or another mix?

I believe this is a common trait in huskies and Australian shepherds...and perhaps other breeds. What breed is Bayard?

    Must see a pic soon

yes your right, And partial or sectoral, Is when there is two colours with in the one aye, He seems to have both.
He is a mix of great dane (which is more then likely where he gets it, as its common in danes aswell) with neo mastiff and aussie bulldog.

google koolies - most of them have funny looking eyes. Ie one brown and one blue or mixture of not your usual dog coloured eyes.
