    Aww, so gorgeous!

I'm excited today because a friend is seriously considering getting a dog again. And her mother might get one too. They live closeby so we'll have lots of playdates and reciprocal dog minding.

That's funny I am trying to talk my neighbour into having one too just because I want Hooch to have a neighbour friend.

    Hey Beloz

Make sure you sucker them in with cute photos from Pet Rescue and keep them away from pet shops...

Hooch... well.... for the week and a half that we had Judd, Hooch wanted nothing to do with us.
He was politely waggy when he wanted to eat but he did not want to go into the house (which is unheard of as he is a domestic hermit), he would wake up at ungodly hours of the morning wanting to play with Judd, he ignored us when we came out to play and only used us to get the ball so he can play with Judd.
They would play ALL day together. Crazy play. Non stop. It was just too cute.
Judd Judd Judd.. all about him! I felt neglected and used and unloved!
The minute Judd went back home, suddenly Hooch is our best friend again.. only going out to do wee and run back in. Not getting out of bed til noon, harassing us for play-til-we-drop at night... his usual self.

I love Judd, he was so much better behaved than Hooch. Such a gentle gorgeous dog. But I am happy to have my doggie back all to myself!!

No danger at all of them going to a pet shop, Hya.

That's funny BG. I sometimes feel insulted because Banjo so easily forgets me when she is having fun or simply seems to like other people or dogs better. But it is much better than having a dog that can only be happy when they're right near you, like my old dog.

what a wonderful treat for you dog, to have a sleeping over mate!
    such fun.
Glad its gone well. And now he's single again, can return to thinking you're the best est thing since sliced bread!
Doubt you had to walk them much either, with that amount of rumpussing.

I feel the same when my son has a sleep over...
We tried walking them once and it was a disaster, Judd is a puller and Hooch who has learned to walk nicely was pulling blindly after him.
5 minutes later we were back home, all sore.
But they got a huge amount of exercise in the back yard.
Now I noticed Hooch started digging again at the back yard.. bummer! he was over it...
