    Default Poor boy

I'm so angry right now. Just went to MIL house for lunch and SIL has just moved in after a split from partner and her dog boy was there. He is a rotty (my lilys brother) and is so skinny I almost cried. Lily is on the pudgy side but she still shouldn't double the weight of her litter brother. I don't usually start trouble but I couldn't help myself. Then she said she had no money bla bla bla. Does she seriously think we would not give her A few cans of dog food or think that if she asked we would say he couldn't stay with us. F**k people like that make me sick. I noticed her smoking I didn't realise they gave cigarettes out these days for free.

I just sent my partner there with a big marrow bone and some food for tonight and now he is there MIL won't let him go hungry.

I have been calling my 2 niglectireenos cos there not getting walks everyday at the moment being 9monrhs preg. And I've been stressing at them being hungry and bored while I'm in the hospital and my partner may not get home to feed them 2 times a day for the first few days (he prob will but I'm still stressed for them ) so we've gone out and got 10 big juicy marrow bones to keep them occupied.

I'm almost in tears thinking last time I saw boy he was fit healthy and well fed today although still has nice coat u could see ribs and hips etc. lily would weigh a good 10 kg more than him. I'm glad he has moved house now so things should improve.

    Ppl make me sick.

People like that are what the RSPCA are for.

But maybe you could just get her to "sell" you the dog (get transfer of ownership in writing), and then you could make sure he's looked after properly.

Animal cruelty like that can get people into jail. I watched the RSPCA rescue once and saw that one person that also starved the dogs got a month jail and a thousand dollar fine. Dogs are serious!

There is no way I could per mantle take on another rotty. My two cost enough to feed and look after. If he didn't just get moved to my partners mums house I would act on it further but I know she would never let this dog go hungry under her roof. We visit this house where he is now almost daily so will make sure he continues to gain weight. And we took around a few big bones for a treat. I believe now my partners sister will leave him at her mums for good now so I know he will be fed and cared for properly. My partner will take on the responsibility of getting the food as his mum doesn't drive so he will always ensure there is some there. I just don't understand how she can look in her dogs eyes when he is like that.
Any way I know he will be much Better off now and I know his sister won't dare move him without a fight from us.

I'm glad you guys will look after him now, hopefully he gets back into good condition soon in a house where he is loved.

I also don't understand people that don't feed dogs

I just met a 7 month old female rotti (with a tail) that was such a solid girl, she's gonna be huge. First time I've patted and met a rotti, what beautiful dogs!!

They are such beautiful dogs. My 2 both weigh well over 50kgs. Lily would be over weight a bit but Harley is very fit and masculine. At the moment boy looks like a Doberman. I have photos on my computer of them all playing but cbf turning on computer.

I was very mad before boys not on deaths door or anything he is skinny don't get me wrong and there is absolutely no excuse for not feeding ur dog. Especially when she has money for smokes and whatever else. I know iif I couldn't afford to feed my dogs I would find a home for them as much as it would tear me apart but I could not watch them waste away in the yard. Dogs don't get skinny by missing a meal or 2 it doesn't happen overnight.

I'm just glad he will be fed properly now

Even homeless people look after their dogs better than that SIL.
