Default sun burnt nose in summer?

Maggie is going into her first summer. I notice the area just on top of her nose before the black end is very pink and the fur is thinnish. I think I will have to put sunscreen on it as the weather warms up?

I used to put zinc on my little fluffy in Summer to protect that spot. I used to change up the colours to give her a different look each day :P bright pink to bright yellow or green. I'm sure you could just use white if your dog is white but I was happy with the bright colours.

There is a product called Filta-Bac, you can get it from feed stores and pet shops, cheaper online. It's an animal sunscreen and anti-bacterial to prevent that cracked skin

I also have loads of zinc Sticks on hand , different colours of course

I also use Bepanthin or Paw Paw cream on noses that tend to become cracked.
