Default Wooty Woot Woot! ANother one Bites The Dust!

Another Gippsland puppy farm has been raided by the RSPCA - and declared as one of the worst cases ever...

These are coming pretty regularly at the moment - I hope all the agencies (and the RSPCA) can keep the momentum going.

Excellent news Pinkest, hopefully they are able to prosecute. I noticed in the West Australian news yesterday a farmer had been fined $163,000 for cruelty to sheep and cows. All power to those who can seek out and prosecute these low-life ...

Yes, that story made the news in Melbourne too... the claws are starting to come out now with Justices handing down stiffer and stiffer penalites - thankfully the legislation that disctates the penalties was revamped and written into law in January this year that allows for much bigger penalites for those who think that just because animals can't speak, they have no rights to decency.

I don't know if the sheep cruelty was the case that was featured on RSPCA this week, I couldn't watch that bit, had to go and make a cup of tea.

Fantastic that they're doing something about busting the puppy farms. Anyone who tries to justify it by saying the animals are being fed and given water and shelter needs to be taken to a puppy farm and made to look for themselves.

I wish that they never be allowed to own an animal for life, but as it stands now they can but no more than three

I dont know if the future animal ownership of the convicted have the condition that these are desexed I hope it does.

and I wish that like convicted felons they were put on a register so they are able to be checked on by the great and many animal lovers on our planet (never would they be able to harm another animal for the rest of their days).
