Default Today was D Day for Oskar

So we finally went through with it and got the poor boy desexed. We picked him up around 3.30pm and the poor pooch was still a bit groggy and unsteady on his feet. I am on the lounge at the moment and he is asleep right next to me, apparently he might be a bit better tomorrow. He gets the stitches out in 10 days and he has been given an anti biotic injection which lasts about 3 days....he looks a bit funny at the back end now, he has still got the sack but its saggy, looks like a turkeys neck thing lol.Poor bugger..

LMAO the thought has crossed my mind about my bloke...haha but nah, I do feel a bit guilty, but it had to be done. I didn't realise he would have a lot of sagginess there. You reckon we should have taken some tennis balls along to be inserted? Haha!! My OH had the day off as it turns out, so it worked in well and he was a huge sook...I told him he should have expressed some milk for his baby boy hehehe

Hahaha I think it goes away after a while, Harley just has a little pancake now! Hahaha he was up running a couple of hours after his op, I tried to keep him still but he wasn't interested!

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.

Yeah, Oskar has had a little bit of dinner and he seems to want to follow me everywhere at the moment, where ever I move to in the house (daddy has stepped out for a couple of hours lol), I don't think he knows what to do...i know we will have trouble keeping him quiet lol

Hooch had the sagginess for awhile after the operation and I started wondering if they actually took anything out. At least 3-4 weeks later the skin started getting tighter.
The real problem was keeping him away from his stitches.. oh the dramas lol. Hope Oskar is a good boy and does not lick/bite his stitches!!

Me too BG, I don't want to have to fork out more to clear up any infection. That is some hope then for the boy....I was thinking we might have to book him in for a nip and tuck lol
