Do you have the cone of shame ready if he starts getting to the stitches?

Maybe a new squeaky toy or a tasty bone might distract him from realizing something's missing

Saggy empty ball sacks. Delightful eh?

Fear not, in 3 weeks, he'll look like he has labia, then by 6 months, it will go.

A nice Elizabethan collar to complete his fall from grace should stop the infection from licking. Hope you only have one dog, as these collars need to be worn by both dogs otherwise.

Mine was drugged up to eye balls for first day, crying non stop for first few hours. Then when we got up next day, found him humping the local bike aka my sofa cushions! grrrrrr

Takes a couple of months for the testosterone levels to drop out. Humping continues if its allowed to become a habit behaviour.

Nero was humping his playmate for more than six months after the snip... I think it was closer to 12 months. The spunky black lab girl from down the road still does it for him and so does his bed occasionally.

LMAO MArgoo!!! Yeah Oskar likes humping, he also has a fondness for labs. Anyway, had to take him back to the vet this morning, as he has been picking at his stitches. He walked out of the vet wearing the cone of shame haha...poor bugger, he is so awkward in it, keeps walking into the walls and I came home from being out, he was right at the door so I couldnt push the door open because the cone was blocking it haha...poor boy!! He has to wear it for 10 days.
