After a whole day of searching for him and fretting over him, he greeted me on our driveway when I got home after work!

Shortest way from the place he escaped from to here is 5.6kms but I'm sure he walked way more than that. And is stalking the cats with renewed gusto and so happy to play with Banjo again. Of course I'll keep him here now until my friends return.

Yeah, he does like me more than I like him, I reckon. lol I have been part of his life since he was a pup and used to look after him a lot when he was owned by the girl I sublet our granny flat to back then.

I kind of seem to attract neglected JRTs it seems. But he is happy with his current owners and they are responsible people who treat him well. I really will make sure that we organise regular playdates with him and Banjo in the future because they are such great buddies. Banjo was really happy to see him walk through the door after he'd been gone for less than 24 hrs.

Unfortunately the autistic kitten seems to know he's back and is in hiding again...
