Default Dalmations, next on the dangeous breed list?

Puppy killed by vicious Dalmatian | The Daily Advertiser

I am so angry right now i could not sleep untill i got this off my chest.

Apparently Dalmation are next on the dangereous breed list.... COME THE **** ON?

We might as well put every single dog breed on there... No every single animal breed out there on this list, Because all animals have instincts which result to fighting, or hurting another animal. Or anything for that matter. This makes me so angry... I am sick of ignorant ****ing people. Stupid idiots with no brains. A dog is an ANIMAL, all animals have instincts for god sake. When are people going to realise we demesticated these animals? IT IS OUT RESPONSIBILITY, Not there's, to do the right thing.

Sorry about the language, i can't help it when i'm mad.

The Australian legislature is out of control. This is how freedom is lost - not overnight, but gradually, with small changes that nobody but the affected parties notice. Australia, Victoria in particular, is turning into a police state and nobody seems to know or care how this will be affecting us 20 years in the future.

    oh yeah. Doh!

Dreadful incident. Traumatic for those involved. Bugger all to do with the breed as per usual.
But what im interested in is this: if you buy the type of paper that reports matters in such a subjective manner, are we buying into this bullshit?

I have voted with my feet on aussie newspapers for this very reason. They are written for people who have a reading age of 11. And this is why, so you can read this sort of 'news' and believe it.

I don't even read newspapers, lol i either see links on facebook, here or hear it on the radio while i'm driving. But obviously anything that relates to something being a dogs fault makes me angry.

This happened to a friend of my mothers who had a small poodle mix. The dog would sit outside in front of the driveway and wait for her husband to come home. One day two greyhounds came along and mauled the poor little dog to death. She took the owner to court but the lady who owned the dogs denied everything, and because she hadn't stuck around after the incident nothing could be proven.

Nothing to do with the dogs, it's the owners that need training!
