Good luck Sean, hope you deter the wandering cat...

What are the council laws on keeping cats up there Sean? If they are meant to keep their cat locked up at night maybe a pamphlet in the letter box and a note saying that if you see it trying to hunt your guinea pigs again it will be taking a trip to the pound? lol I'd never let my cat out at night, or day for that matter.

If the cat is ginger, how about i loan you bernie. He's real fast, faster than a cat, AND can knock em off fences with his stealth pounce that puts them HIS side of the fence lol
He's fine with other colours, but hates gingers. Racist trait he got from me probably.

Thanks guys. I'm leaving the council thing as a last resort as it's owned by a young girl who's moved out with her friend so they kinda struggle for coin, so a vet bill or council fine wouldnt be too cool. I'm hoping this sillohette thing solves it. Either that or it gets the idea it's life is in serious danger here so it's not worth visiting.
LOL..Bernie, it's one of them big fluffy white things......so fluffy it can walk around without it's bell ringing cause of all the hair !! Stands out like dogs balls at night time.
Dam right Rural Pug....Macgyver would have ssorted it out a hell of a lot easier than old mate. I forgot he went to so much effort with all the wiring !! I hate wiring or anything to do with electricity.....learnt the hard way there with a few good zaps!!
Mojo's onto it now.....all i say is "cat, wheres the cat?" and he starts going nuts looking for it. The silohette thing may even fool the dog too !!
    We'll see what happens.

Had an issue with a tom that learnt how to open a fly screen on a window and peed all over the house. I set up a trap cage where he came in and trapped him then took him to the local cemetary and released him where he joined 100 or so "strays".

Was a well known place in that city where you could go and maybe find your missing cat.

Dont forget to move the sillohette around the yard. My work place uses plastic owls to keep the crows from the tuckshop area...works to i might add

I've told the owners it's sussing out the guinea pigs. Not that it could get them......it's more that a giant guinea pig with a tail is likley to eat the cat if the lazy bugger catches it.

It keeps coming back. 2.30am i get the wet nose headbutt (mojos way of saying let me out for a wee). Luckily i saw it first and hissed at it to bugger off. It shot off and under the fence with Mojo about a foot behind it. If he see's it before me i dont know what will happen

Now you may know that i'm no fan of cats but i really dont want to see it hurt or killed. I've warned them...what else can i do.??
Take it on a little fishing trip!! Just the two of you!

LOL...thats cruel. We arnt at that stage yet,he,he.

Must be getting kinder or softer these days......plus it's to cold and wrong month for Mud Crabs at the moment LOL.

Anyway, no sign of it last night so maybe it's read the forum (or it's owner LOL..) My neighbour across the road was going to mention to them about keeping it inside at night because he knows what Mojo will do if he catches it and he actually likes the cat. Here's hoping it just dosnt come back.

leave a super soaker by the back door so if you see him before your dog you can use that instead of rushing for a hose - more fun too!

Please dont hurt the cat - its not the cats fault it is wondering around the neighbourhood - its the owners fault for this

Dont worry Dexter. Even though i freely admit to not liking cats, I never hurt any animals and dont want to see my dog hurt it either.

The supersoakers a great idea !! My son will be keen to help out aswell if water guns are involved !!

The cats actually down to 7 lives now as he scratched a heap of my neighbours security screens up badly last night. And this is the one person who really had a soft spot for the cat. It kept the old fella company. He wasnt impressed one bit. He wont hurt it either but he's got the hose on standby now aswell.

I havnt seen it for 2 nights and days now so hopefully it's got the message and dosnt come back.
